The BwN standard celebrates developments that are designed with nature in mind, integrating both existing landscapes and new planting to create spaces that are good for people and wildlife alike.
At Collaton Park, every element of the site has been carefully planned to balance homes with thoughtfully designed open spaces, blue and green infrastructure, and thriving habitats for local flora and fauna.
Setting a High Standard
The accreditation demonstrates that Collaton Park has achieved an exceptionally high level of care in site layout, landscaping, and ecological integration. It places the development alongside other leading projects that prioritise sustainability, wellbeing, and long-term environmental value.
Three to four years ago, Collaton Park was encouraged to enter the BwN programme by the judging panel. After a detailed review and submission for full accreditation, the project has now met the rigorous standards required, confirming that the development is on track to deliver positive outcomes for both people and wildlife.
A post-construction review by an Approved Assessor will confirm the long-term impact of these measures, ensuring the scheme continues to support biodiversity and provide engaging, sustainable outdoor spaces for residents.
